Code of Conduct

Alongside our primary objective to provide a space that inspires scientific discussion and collaboration, The New York Stem Cell Foundation Research Institute (NYSCF) is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and harassment-free environment. All conference participants are expected to treat others with compassion and respect, follow all venue rules, and uphold standards of scientific integrity and professionalism.

All conference participants are expected to follow these rules at all times. Conference participants in violation of these rules may be removed from the conference at the discretion of conference organizers. If a participant is asked to leave the conference in violation of this policy, the participant will not receive a refund.

NYSCF does not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Any incidents of harassment should be immediately reported to NYSCF Conference staff in-person or to Ali Kean Hofer at akean@nyscf.org.

Cancellation Policy

Registrations are refundable, less a $75 administrative charge, provided that all such refund requests are submitted to events@nyscf.org on or before September 23, 2022. After September 23, 2022, registrations are transferrable but not refundable. No-shows are not eligible for a refund.

Exceptions:
If the conference is canceled in its entirety, NYSCF will provide registrants a full refund.

After October 1, 2022, regular cancellation policies will apply.

If the conference transitions to a fully virtual event or is canceled in its entirety, except for as outlined above, NYSCF will not be responsible for any other costs incurred directly by registrants (e.g., airfare, hotel accommodation, etc.).
